About the author
Vladimir Nekola bought his first Tehuelche when he was living in the United States. There, he began researching the history of this bike and became interested in motorcycles that were entirely designed and manufactured in his native Argentina. When he returned to Argentina he began restoring and collecting Tehuelches and other Argentine bikes. He put into writing his findings about this unique motorcycle that resulted in this book: Tehuelche, the motorcycle. Vladimir currently resides in Cordoba, Argentina.

It also tells the story of the three Italian immigrants who attained their dream of building a utilitarian motorcycle for the Argentine population at a time when there was a serious need for affordable transportation.
